TRAINING CENTER PROGRAMS

CAD Engineering Technology-CAD Engineer

The CAD Engineering Technology program of study is designed to provide instruction in several phases of design technology in order to prepare student for positions as designers / computer aided drafting technicians. Instruction includes computer aided design, architectural design, civil planning, 3D-modeling and manufacturing. A combination of class work and laboratory experience is stressed. Students who successfully complete a minimum of 47 semester hours in the CAD Engineering Technology courses may earn a technical certificate. Successful completion of a minimum of 62 semester credit hours of course work in a 2-year program leads to an Associate in Applied Science degree in CAD Engineering Technology.
