The primary function of the Projects Coordinator is to Receive, track and process all technician paperwork and ensure that all cost and revenue are accurately entered and provides administrative support to the Project Director and the Projects Division.

TRAINING CENTER PROGRAMS

Electrical Technology [E/M]*-Electrical Technician

The program has instruction and training in general electrical theory; residential, commercial and industrial wiring; the National Electrical Code; Electrical motor maintenance; Motor control systems; Programmable logic controls; Solid state motor controls and automated electrical system. The Electrical Technology Program works with the Mississippi Construction Education Foundation to provide national certification to its students in Core Construction, Electrical Level 1 and Electrical Level 2. These certifications are through the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER).

Electrical Technology [E/M]*-Residential Electrician | Commercial Electrician | Industrial Electrician | Maintenance Electrician

Electrical Technology is designed to prepare students for employment in positions in installing, operating, maintaining and repairing electrical systems. The hands-on program trains students in electrical trouble-shooting and develops problem-solving skills in industrial electrical procedures, programmable logic controllers and process control.

Pre-requisites required:
Attain a 16 composite score on the ACT; or Score a 251 or higher on the ACCUPLACER Reading section and a 230 or above on the Algebra section; or Earn a "C" or above in Math for Occupational Education (CTE 1113); or Complete 15 semester hours with a "C" average from an accredited college.
