TRAINING CENTER PROGRAMS
Students receive basic instruction in a wide variety of areas including safety, machinery maintenance and troubleshooting/service, blueprint reading, basic machining, fundamentals of industrial electricity, CAD, fluid power, Industrial Controls and PLC programming. The Electromechanical curriculum embeds opportunities to acquire multiple credentials through the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER)The Electromechanical associate of applied science degree prepares graduates to enter the job market in many different areas or continue their education at a 4-year institution.

Pre-requisites required: Career Certificate | Technical Certificate | 2 year Associate of Applied Science Summary of Program Requirements Submit an application for enrollment to the Office of Admissions and Records at Hinds Community College. Request that an official high school transcript or GED scores and ACT scores be sent to the Office of Admissions and Records if you are a high school graduate.
