TRAINING CENTER PROGRAMS
The Health Information Technology program is a two-year (four-semester) program. Graduates receive an Associate of Applied Science degree and are eligible to sit for the national certification exam to become a Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT). The program offers one class per year beginning each fall.

Pre-requisites required: 2 years Summary of Program Requirements Must be accepted to ICC prior to completing a Health Science Application. Health Science Application deadline is April 1st. Applicants must: (1) have a high school diploma or its equivalent, (2) score a minimum of 16 on the ACT, and (3) complete the following prerequisites with a C or higher by May 20th: Anatomy and Physiology I & II with Lab. Applicants are also encouraged, but not required, to submit a Health Information Technology Observation Form.
