Electronic Technician/Electrician

Electronics Technicians/Electricians maintains and repairs the electronic equipment used in manufacturing facilities, such as PC-based controllers, air conditioning and heating systems, boilers, and conveyors. They may install and maintain wiring, control, and lighting systems.

TRAINING CENTER PROGRAMS

Industrial Electricity*-Electronic Technician/Electrician

The electrician program provides a series of hands-on exercises as well as classroom instruction. Delta Tech€™s electrician trade program teaches students basic electrical theory, mathematics, wiring, load calculations, motors and electrical controls. Students also learn field and shop safety. The objective of Delta Tech€™s electrical training is for students to gain entry-level employment as an electrician, electrician€™s helper or electrical apprentice.

Pre-requisites required:
Applicants must: (1) provide proof of high school diploma or recognized equivalency, (2) be proficient in speaking, writing, reading, and comprehending English, (3) have a personal interview with an authorized representative of the school, (4) complete a Health Affidavit/Screening, and (5) have a valid driver’s license, state issued ID, or passport.

30 weeks (7 months)
