TRAINING CENTER PROGRAMS
Manufacturing Basic Skills-Basic Shop Floor
This 96-hour course, available throught-out our five county district. It covers five major areas of knowledge with the intent of training the student to be a "shop floor" employee. Topics covered include Basic computer Liteeracy, Safety and CPR, Blueprint Reading, Precision Measurement and an introduction to manufacturing improvement methods that include lean manufacturing, quick changeover, 5S, teamwork and problem solving.
