TRAINING CENTER PROGRAMS
The Medical Assisting Program at Delta Tech provides entry-level theory and hands-on training in basic and routine clinical and administrative tasks. Medical assistant training provides students the skills needed to perform in either a clinical or office capacity. The graduate will be able to assist in EKG, x-ray procedures, first aid and phlebotomy. Delta Techs medical assistant program also gives students hands-on training to perform clinical procedures, prep a patient for physical exams and assist the physician with other exams. The medical assistant may also help the physician with minor surgical procedures and can sterilize and care for instruments.

Pre-requisites required: 36 weeks, 9 months Summary of Program Requirements Applicants must: (1) provide proof of high school diploma or recognized equivalency, (2) be proficient in speaking, writing, reading, and comprehending English, (3) have a personal interview with an authorized representative of the school, (4) complete a Health Affidavit/Screening, (5) have a valid drivers license, state issued ID, or passport, (6) have required immunizations and TB skin test, and (7) have a satisfactory criminal background history.
