TRAINING CENTER PROGRAMS
MGCCCs Mechanical Maintenance Technology program is designed to prepare students for a wide range of technical positions within the commercial/industrial manufacturing industry and the utility and petroleum industries. The program will prepare graduates for a career in the installation, maintenance, testing, and repair of industrial equipment and systems. Graduates will possess the skills necessary to enter the workforce as entry-level millwrights in the field of chemical, petrochemical, exploration and production, shipbuilding, pulp and paper, power generation, utilities, food and beverage, and water/waste treatment.

Pre-requisites required: 45 semester hours for a certificate | 60 semester hours for an Associate of Applied Science in Occupational Education Degree Summary of Program Requirements All students completing a career or technical program must complete either the MS-CPAS (Mississippi Career Planning and Assessment System) or an MGCCC Board-approved Technical Attainment Assessment where applicable.
