Millwright

Millwrights work in factories, power plants and other industrial settings to move, assemble, install or dismantle machinery. They are incredibly skilled at their job, understanding how a number of different machines work after reading complicated technical plans. The machines they construct may take days or weeks, and they may work solo or in a team.

Millwright Technology – Industrial Maintenance-Millwright

MCC's Millwright Technology is a two-year advanced course of study, designed to prepare the student for employment and advancement in industrial plants and construction companies. The program is an interdisciplinary program, well-grounded in fundamental job competencies with an option to specialize in industrial applications or construction activities.

Day classes only.

Pre-requisites required:
Attain a 16 composite score on the ACT; or Score a 250 or higher on the ACCUPLACER Reading section and a 230 or above on the Algebra section; or Earn a "C" or above in Math for Occupational Education (CTE 1113); or Complete 15 semester hours with a "C" average from an accredited college.
