Unmanned Aircraft Operator

Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) Operators are remote pilots of unmanned observation aircrafts or drones. UAS operators require skills in piloting, maintaining and repairing unmanned arial vehicles (UAV). UAVs can be controlled remotely or can be preprogrammed to operate independently.

This program at Hinds Community College includes a two-year Associate of Applied Science Degree (AAS) and two certificates. The program is designed to prepare students for a wide range of entry level positions in the aviation industry.
