TRAINING CENTER PROGRAMS
The Journeyman Welder II Program at Delta Tech prepares students to gain entry-level employment in the welding field, and offers an additional 10 weeks / 250 hours more than the Journeyman Welder Program. This program will expand on hands-on pipe fitting training and include more hands-on fitting and rigging. Delta Techs pipe welding classes provide the student the skills and hands-on training needed to become a proficient pipe welder using SMAW and TIG processes. Pipe welding training teaches students MIG & flux core welding. Delta Techs pipe welding program also provides students pipe welding and manufacturing skills. Students will also learn field and shop safety and basic blueprint readings. During Delta Techs Journeyman Welder II pipe fitting training, students learn the fundamental principles of entry-level pipe fitting to prepare them for a career as a pipefitter/steamfitter in the manufacturing, construction, fabrication and maintenance industries. Pipe fitting training includes classroom instruction and hands-on training in pipe measurements and runs, isometric drawing readings, field fabrication and more
