Offered at Meridian Community College, the Health Information Technology (HIT) Program is a two-year program with online and traditional classroom options. Upon successful completion you will be awarded an Associate of Applied Science degree.
HIT graduates are prepared to work in positions dealing with management and analysis of health information, including medical coding, medical staff credentialling, quality assessment and privacy and security of electronic health records. This is a growing field projected to continue growing in the future.
