Job Description

Heavy Equipment Operators drive and control large equipment and vehicles, usually for construction. This equipment includes bulldozers, forklifts, backhoes, dump trucks, cargo trucks, and/or hydraulic truck cranes, among other tools.

Heavy Equipment Operator

The Construction Equipment Operation program is a one-year, certificate program which prepares an individual to operate and maintain a variety of heavy equipment including backhoe, fork-lift, dozer, end-loader, excavator, motor grader, and scraper.
