Job Description

Also known as software engineers or systems programmers, computer programmers are tasked with designing and creating software programs, integrating systems and software, training end-users, analyzing algorithms, modifying source-code, writing system instructions, debugging, and maintaining operating systems.

The Computer Programming Technology curriculum is designed as a two-year program of study to prepare the student for entry-level employment in computer programming. The Computer Programming Technology program offers training in the development of business-application software for desktop and web-based environments.
