Job Description
Production technicians evaluate products to ensure quality and functionality. They typically work in factories, inspecting and testing products before they are made available to the public. Production technicians also ensure the safety of the factory and the availability of required materials.
Training Opportunities
Manufacturing Skills is the initial course designed to provide the student with the basic skills needed to be successful in a high-performance manufacturing environment. The course covers 5 major areas of knowledge that are considered critical for employment in a high-performance manufacturing company. The topics covered include: Basic Computer Literacy, Safety and CPR, Blueprint Reading, Precision Measurement, and an introduction to manufacturing improvement methods.
