Job Description
Commercial Truck Drivers play a critical role in America’s economic engine, transporting goods from one location to another. Some work in long-haul trucking with routes that may span several states. Others cover local routes that require little or no time away from home.
Commercial Equipment Operators work primarily in the construction industry, driving or operating the heavy equipment used to build roads, bridges, buildings and more. Bulldozers, excavators, loaders and forklifts are just a few examples of the equipment you may find yourself operating.

The Commercial Truck Driving program is designed to prepare participants for employment in the field of transportation. The participant will learn Department of Transportation rules and regulations, Mississippi requirements for obtaining a commercial driver's license, and the operation of a semitractor-trailer. Course consists of classroom and hands-on equipment training. Employability/work maturity and basic educational skills will be taught.
