Job Description

Commercial Truck Drivers play a critical role in America’s economic engine, transporting goods from one location to another. Some work in long-haul trucking with routes that may span several states. Others cover local routes that require little or no time away from home.

Commercial Equipment Operators work primarily in the construction industry, driving or operating the heavy equipment used to build roads, bridges, buildings and more. Bulldozers, excavators, loaders and forklifts are just a few examples of the equipment you may find yourself operating.

Both of these careers are in high demand for the foreseeable future. If one of these careers sounds right for you, learn more about the schools that offer the training you need to get started in your new career.
