Job Description

A logistics coordinator is responsible for managing all aspects of shipping routes and delivery, specifically with regard to customer satisfaction. As a logistic coordinator, customer satisfaction is a priority as this is how business remains successful. Additionally, a logistic coordinator is well-versed in supply management principles and practices. Logistics coordinators usually work in a variety of industries within the logistics department.

Training Opportunities

Logistics Coordinator

Logistics is all about getting goods, services, and people where they need to be when they need to be there, and in the right quantity with absolute accuracy. It is how businesses set themselves apart from their competition by increasing productivity and quality while reducing costs. Our Logistics Technology program is offered at the Jackson Campus’s Academic/Technical Center. In just two semesters, you can complete a Career Certificate. In an additional semester, you can complete a Technical Certificate. Also, if you complete an additional 15–16 credit hours of academic classes, you can receive an Associate of Applied Science Degree.
